Must Read Fashion Books

Sunday, November 4, 2012

Hey guys! Sorry for the late post, but since it's daylight savings, I guess it's not so late. Anyways, the reason I'm posting this up so late is because I had to go somewhere, but I'm not going to get in that too much. Today when I was out, I stopped by at this place which sold books. There was so much that I wanted, but sadly I didn't have enough time to. I was actually not going to blog today, but I came back home and I thought about all those books I saw, and thought that I should tell you guys some fashion related novels I think you guys must read. These are only Fashion novels, so don't expect romance, action, fantasy novels like Harry Potter. I do like Harry Potter though which I think you guys must read, but anyways let's get back on track.

1. The Little Black Book Of Style By Nina Garcia
This book is one of my favorites, and It's basically a guide on how to dress on certain events, and Nina Garcia tells people how to dress their best with their own unique style. This book also has many helpful tips on how to shop for clothes and how to create your wardrobe. This book is great for anyone looking on how to dress for a special occasion and how to mix and match certain outfits. I would recommend this books for anyone who loves fashion.

2. Fashion: 150 Years Of Couturiers, Designers, Labels By Charlotte Seeling
This is another must read. This novel talks about the revolution of fashion. It talks about all the designers and cultural movements that has brought style forward. This is a good book for people who want to blog about fashion seriously from a more informed perspective. This book takes it's readers all the way back to the nineteenth century to present day. It has over 100 beautifully illustrated fashion photos. I recommend this for anyone who takes fashion seriously.

3. Postcards From The Edge Of The Catwalk By Iain R Webb
So my last recommended book is this one. This one focuses more on the glamour of catwalking. It has a lot of photography of catwalk moments that span all the way to 30 years. It has a great view on the fashion world and all the glamours surrounding it. This book shows three decades of haute couture in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. I would recommend this book for anyone dreaming to become a model, and this book gives you a nice perspective of what it would be like.

Well these are all the books I think every fashion lover should read. I have read all these over and over again, and I still couldn't get enough of them because they really give me a good perspective on the fashion world. So, if you guys have any good fashion must reads, please comment below and I'll check them out. I would really love reading a new book. Anyways, that should be all I need to say, I don't want to make you guys too bored. Happy reading!
