A Simple Guide to Staying Fit

     Hello everyone! Today, I have decided to do something special for all of you. I want to give you all a few ways that I like to stay fit. I know that a lot of us may or may not be pleased with our own bodies, and we always tell ourselves not to eat or start exercising, but we always end up putting that aside and go on with our lives. That is how I think all the time, but I came up with a few ways that I can keep myself excited about it. I know running 5 miles may not be the ideal way to get fit, so I will try to list the simplest ways that can help you stay fit. I hope you all find this helpful and enjoy today's post!

1. Do Yoga
I think this is probably one of the most relaxing way to get fit. I mean think about, it's like meditating and it has a great effect on clearing negative thoughts from your mind. Here you can choose a yoga class online by picking how long you want the class for, the type of instructor you want, and what level of class you want. It also gives you a free 15 day trial before you have to pay. I also recommend bringing a friend with you just cause having a friend is always better than being alone. 

2. Get New Kicks
My next one is to get some new running shoes. If you're someone who loves running, then I suggest you get some new kicks it'll shake up your morning run. Who doesn't want to wear new, comfortable shoes every morning when they run. I also think it will motivate you a lot more. I know this helped me every time I run in the morning.

3. Lower your Carb Intake
I know you all want to eat those chips you've been saving or going out and stuffing yourself with all those fried foods or all your favorite snacks, but you're going to have to cut back on eating all that junk food. This doesn't mean don't eat at all, there are plenty of food that are delicious and they will keep you fuller for a long period of time. These will be great for maintaining a fit body. Some examples are:
Brown Rice
Pumpernickel Bread
Potato Chips with a resistant starch

4. Be Consistent
The most important thing is to be consistent. That does not mean you need to force yourself to do it, but whatever keeps you motivated and makes you keep on going, then stick with it. Have something or someone with you that will make your daily workout much more fun. Maybe have a few friends go running with you or to the gym or have a playlist that you can listen to while exercising. One way that keeps me going is trying different exercises each day, then I will have something new to try out everyday. It's about the freedom and ability to try new fitness techniques.

5. Do morning Stretches
By doing a few stretches every morning, you can relieve stress and be more awake.  It's great for helping you before a morning run or a day at the gym because it decreases tension on areas like the lower back or the sides of your body. A few of them are:

The Back Releaser
I'm pretty sure I won't need to explain to you all how to do this. This is a great pose for stretching your back. I recommend doing this for at least 15 seconds before releasing.

Side Stretch
I do this every morning and it helps to release those side pains I get sometime when I sleep on my sides for too long. I do this for about 15 seconds before releasing.

6. Never Starve Yourself
I can not stress how much people I see that starve themselves to get the body they want. I'm going to be honest because that doesn't necessarily help your health or fitness. I don't know why anybody would want to starve themselves when their is so so so much food that you can eat and still stay fit.
