Boosting That Self Esteem!

Wednesday, September 3, 2014

Hello my lovely viewers! Today, I won't be doing any outfit posts, but rather a post to help yourself out. As a fashion blogger, I don't believe in good looks because the way I see fashion is that in order to stand out and truly look beautiful in what your wearing is the confidence you put in yourself, meaning if you think your ugly or too fat, then it won't only make you become that, but it will also make you more prone to insults. I believe everyone should have more self confidence in themselves if they want others around them to like them because if you don't believe in yourself, then who will? I will be giving you a few tips on how you can boost your self esteem. Enjoy!

1. Think Positive
This is the most important tip that I can give you. If you don't think positive, you'll just drown into your own sorrow. Thinking positive is the best way to boost your self esteem because if you're happy, chances are, you'll make others around you happy. It's also the best way to get back at haters. Sometimes it may be hard to stay positive all the time, but if you keep smiling, I'm sure all the negative thoughts will wash out.

2. Focus on The Solution
Another great way to increase your self esteem is to focus on the solutions. Meaning, if there is a problem, don't think about it too much. Instead do something about it. This may be the hardest part for most people because all of us are capable of doing something good, but when it actually comes down to it, less than half of us are willing to do it. I guarantee that if go out and do something, you will feel 100x better than doing nothing.

3. Clear Your Mind
Sometimes you just need to clear your head for awhile, and that is completely okay. There are always those days when you want to be alone. If you are feeling under the weather on a certain day, I suggest staying in your room and reading a book while listening to your favorite music. I suggest playing something that isn't too loud or you could always take a nap or even meditate.

4. Be Grateful
If you can't be grateful, than you can't confident in yourself because being grateful is the first step to bringing up your self esteem. It may seem like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. Just by saying 2 words, you can make yourself seem more confident and positive. Also, more people will like you and find you easier to approach and talk to.

5. Exercise
Exercising is another way to boost your self esteem. Whenever I'm in a bad mood or just want to get away for awhile, I always go a jog. It's a great alternative if you want to be alone and be active. It's a great way to help clear your mind and it helps you stay fit. I have posted a lot about exercising on my blog, so check them out if you have time.

That's all I have for you today, and I hope you found this helpful. Maybe even inspired you to get out and do something. Anyways, I will be posting another outfit post soon, so stay tuned! If you have any questions or comments please leave them in the comment section below. Have a wonderful day!

  1. That's all good advice! I especially agree with exercise though. There's just something about putting your body to use that makes you appreciate it so much more, and you can't help but feel good about that.

  18. Much has been said about thinking positive but to those people who are pessimistic by nature, convincing them to think good thoughts is quite challenging. More so, talking to those who are depressed is hard.
