Outfit Post- The State of Mind

Saturday, October 11, 2014

Hello Everyone! I haven't been posting often, but I am back now with another outfit post. I haven't done one of these in a long time, so I thought I should do one. The weather has been extremely hot the past few days in California, and this outfit will be featuring dark colored clothing which is pretty ironic. The outfit I'm wearing will be featuring a sweater I received from Oasap, so a disclaimer that this is a sponsored post. Okay, enough of me talking, let's get started!

For this outfit, I went on the more edgy side and there was also a slight vintage touch to the outfit. The sweater I received from Oasap was great. It fit me perfectly and the quality felt nice as well, and shipping wasn't too bad. It took about 1-2 weeks to arrive. The only thing wrong was my own personal problem. It was a pretty hot day, and I decided to wear a sweater, so I must have looked crazy, but I really liked the edginess this outfit gave and this sweater really matches my dress that I am wearing as well.

The vintage part of this outfit is the dress that I am wearing. I got this dress from eshakti, a vintage clothing store. They sell really cute vintage dresses, but their prices are a but more on the pricey side. I didn't want this outfit to look too dark, so I toned it down by adding some vintage to the outfit. I am supposed to be wearing a dress, but I wore the sweater over the dress just cause I thought it would make the whole outfit look cuter and I thought these 2 pieces go really well together.
Anyways, that is all I have in store for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed today's post and if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comment section. Have a wonderful day!

What I am Wearing:
Sweater($19.90)- Oasap
Dress($45.95)- Eshakti
Tights($12.90)- Uniqlo

  3. I like wearing huge sweaters but my mom would get mad if I wear black. We're the typical Chinese who always wants colorful shirts for a blooming and happy day. :) Red pieces of clothing are always favored.

  12. If you cut the sleeves off, I think it would add a strong rock alternative element to the outfit that could work.

  26. That sweater's definitely a different piece! I like the sleeves and the detailing around the cuff. It looks like it's light enough though to not be horribly, horribly warm....for California though, it may not be the best. Here in Canada, at this time of year, that's right on the money :P
