Get The Look- Classic Fur

Get The Look- Classic Fur by swongx featuring a gel eye liner

Hello everyone! I'm back with another blog post! I wanted to try something new today, so I decided to begin a new series called "Get The Look" on my blog that will be released every week! I'm pretty excited about this new series. I have read countless magazines, and each time I read one, there is always one outfit that I fall in love with in every magazine that I read, but of course, I can never afford it. Which brings me to this new series that I will be starting. Each week, I will find an outfit from a magazine or a model, and try to recreate the exact same look, except the items will be a lot more affordable. The links to each item will be under each photo. My first outfit look will be one I found on Vogue magazine, and also goes perfect with the Winter weather. Since I am just starting this series, I would love to hear your feedback, and it would be awesome if you guys could pitch in some ideas for the next outfit.

This fur jacket from Asos is pretty affordable, but get is fast because it's actually almost out of stock. Considering that it's a fur jacket, and fur jackets can range from $100-$1000, so I chose one that look almost identical to the one pictured in the photo and one that is affordable for anyone on a budget. I think the jacket looks really cute and would go well with any winter outfit and perfect for the Holidays.

This leather clutch is not exactly identical to the one in the photo, but it's still a pretty close match. I found this clutch on forever 21, and it's affordable too! This clutch would go well with the outfit if you don't mind the missing zipper on the bag in the photo, but other than that, the color is similar and they are both leather.

This hat looks almost identical to the one in the photo. I found this hat while browsing on Swell, and it's very affordable and completes the whole look in the photo, but if you want to change the style up a bit more, you could choose a hat with more decoration or a different color. I think this outfit would go well with any nude colors and it would look great for the Winter.

Well, this ends the first post of my new series! Thanks for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed the post and proved useful to some of you. Please keep checking back for more updates on this series as I will be posting it once every week! Please leave any suggestions you have that could improve the series and leave some ideas for the next one. Have a wonderful day!

  5. I just wore a mink coat in that same color today. It's a vintage thrift find that I love, so I'm digging this inspiration.

  11. Great classic but on-trend pieces - definitely agree with all three of them. I was recently in London, and those three items were on 3 out of 5 girls that I saw. Super-cute, but then I started wondering if everyone looked like everyone else.... (then again, it's never bad to have the 'fashion blogger' look) ;)

The fur jacket is my fav of the bunch - I have uh... a collection of fur and faux fur jackets... they're just soooo comfy and chic, I can never resist them.
