Bralette Look Part 1

Wednesday, May 10, 2017

The weather has been warming up and I'm beginning to slack off which is never a good thing. I have been prepping for Finals and kinda watching Netflix on the side even though I tell myself that I can do all that after Finals. Aside from that, before the hectic week began, I put together a few outfit featuring my bralette that I bought from Brandy Melville which has been my obsession for the past few months. I can pair it with almost anything whether it's causal, dressy, or even lounge wear. In this outfit, I wanted to go for something laid back and chic. I paired the bralette with a pair of boyfriend jeans which I thought was very effortless and quick. Good for days you want to stay home and if you plan on going out, you can just throw on a white blouse or a t-shirt. Especially with Summer coming up, I wanted to create an outfit that is minimal and great for mornings where it's warmer. After creating a minimalistic mood board from my last blog post, I was inspired to try an create an outfit that would go along with my board. The denim pants very chic and minimal. If you enjoy wearing denims, I think they would pair very nicely with any kind of bralette. Although Summer may not be the best time to wear Denim, I would recommend going for the looser fitted ones just so they are more comfortable and won't get stuck on you from the humid weather, and they are great if you want to go out for a quick errand or even casual brunch with friends. A bralette is always comfortable to wear and I like them because you don't feel confined to them and they don't have those uncomfortable wires like some bras do. I always try to choose a shirt where I can show the bralette more easily because I'd rather not hide such a cute piece. I would go for a mesh shirt or even a button up, and when you come home you can just take it all off and have your bralette on.

What I'm Wearing
Bralette- Brandy Melville // Bottoms- Uniqlo
