My Self Care Routine

Self-care: doing the things that make you feel more like yourself. 
We all have days where we just want to unwind from the world and be in our own little space. I have definitely felt like that, and what I like to do is take some time to rejuvenate myself  and relax. I know a lot of us are feeling overwhelmed and stressed during this quarantine, so I thought I would compile a list of things I like to do for self-care just to make these times more bearable. Everyone copes with stress differently, but I wanted to give you guys some insight on how I like to destress. Yes, I enjoy scrolling endlessly on Instagram and Facebook and laughing at memes by myself, but when I talk about destressing and unwinding my mind, I mean taking a step back from social media and just focus on yourself. Social media provide a lot of entertainment, but it can also come with a lot of negative impacts that effect us. When I was stressing out over finals in college, I would take some time off to do things that make me happy and I wanted to share my self-care routine with you all. I think it's good practice for everyone to unwind every now and then just to refresh their mind to prepare for the next day, and I often find that when I give myself time off to get away from all the things that are stressing me out. I come back with a new outlook on my situation. This is my self-care routine, and I hope you all find it helpful. Please let me know what you guys like to do for self-care. :)

  2. Love this! I've definitely been trying new things during this quarantine. I think it mixes up the days a bit and helps me not become too stagnant! Gotta find the things to enjoy right now! :)
