Plan The Perfect Picnic

Summer is the perfect season to go out and chill at the park with your friends! If there's one thing you haven't done this summer, I suggest going to your local park to lay out a blanket and just have a good time. They are also the perfect date plans if you want to do something personable for your significant other, and it's a great way to impress your partner *wink wink*. It's a great way to spend some time alone together enjoying the nature. If you're someone who enjoys the outdoors, but hate planning, you can still have the perfect picnic. I put together a guide on how I like to plan and pack for my picnic outings. Get ready to take out that picnic blanket this summer!

Picnic Locations in the Bay Area

If you're in the Bay Area, there are so many good spots to have a picnic with great views! Here are some that I recomment, but if I'm missing any, please let me know if the comments. :)

Picnic Food Ideas

Picnics are best for quick and easy bites. I don't recommend bringing anything that's too messy, like soups, noodles, or saucy meats. I recommend going for foods that you can easily package and things that can be stored easily and it makes packing up easier. Here is a list of some of my favorite food items to bring for a picnic.

  • Sandwich - butter croissant (or any type of bread you prefer), proscuitto, cheese of choice, ham or chicken, baby arugula. You can either assemble the sandwich during your picnic or beforehand.
  • Fruits of choice
  • Parfait - greek yogurt, oat granolas, honey, and strawberries
  • Sparkling cider
  • Crackers and cheese

I hope this guide has been helpful for you all, and if I missed anything, don't hesitate to leave a comment. Enjoy your next picnic! If you enjoy my content, checkout some my other posts here! :)
